Michael Sieger, a product designer and a partner at Sieger Design, a design agency in M?nster, Germany, has created 15 printed beanbag covers for the Original Sitting Bull, a German company known for its solid-colored, utilitarian floor cushions. Introduced in the United States this month, Mr. Sieger’s designs include polka dots, stripes and photorealistic images of orange and white koi on a black background, as well as the baroque Marie Antoinette, above. A floor cushion is ”quite cheap furniture,” Mr. Sieger said, ”so the idea was to give it a more luxurious appearance by using this very complex and rich decoration.”
